About the craft cluster
The intricate ikath weaving in boasts of skilled craftsmanship of artisans from Pochampally cluster.
Kotpad, nestled in Odisha's Koraput region, is renowned for its handwoven textiles crafted by tribal weaving communities using handspun cotton and traditional pit looms. Distinguished by natural dyes derived from the aal tree, Kotpad weaves are celebrated for their earthy palette, understated motifs, and rich cultural heritage.
