About Bhujodi hand weaving craft

It is a centuries-old textile tradition from the Bhujodi village of Kutch, Gujarat, practiced by the skilled Vankar weaving community. Crafted on traditional handlooms using cotton, wool, and silk, the textiles are distinguished by their intricate motifs, extra-weft detailing, and rich textures.

• Kurta : 2.5m black checkered weaving handwoven ikath cotton from Telangana cluster 
• Bottom : 2.5m mint green handwoven cotton from Telangana cluster 
• Dupatta: 2.35 m fine handwoven bhujodi cotton dupatta with tassels. The body has woven buttis.
