About the craft
Ajrakh is a traditional vegetable dyeing resist block-printing technique. The process of 'Ajrakh' is a long drawn process with many stages. The term “Ajrak”, may be derived from “Azrak”, meaning blue in Arabic, as blue happens to be the one of the principal colours in Ajrak printing.

- Ajrakh colours on cotton tend to be more earthy than reflected in the pictures.
- The colour may slightly vary due to camera lights and fabric sheerness.All shoots are taken in outdoor day light.
- Slight imperfections in handcrafted products is inherent owing to the manual process involved.
