Madhubani Handpainted Tussar Silk Dupatta

This is a hand painted madhubani dupatta created by women from mithila region, Bihar. The painting is done with twigs, fingers, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using natural dyes and pigments, and is characterised by eye-catching patterns in colourful hues.

The Daman showcases bidaai ceremony with bride and Palki.The body has diagonal stripes with fish and flower motifs.
