Ikat tales crafted in comfort of finest handwoven cottons. Ikat - a forever classic style statement is a method for colouring fabric in patterns by diligent resist dyeing technique. The pattern is not applied to the surface of a finished fabric, nor is it woven into the fabric structurally but rather parts of the yarns for the warp and/or weft are protected with a resist before dyeing
The entire process is very much labour exhaustive and is done manually from dyeing to weaving.
