About the Technique

Handblock Wax Batik, is a "resist" process for making designs on fabric. The artisans make usage of wax to prevent dyes from penetrating fabric, leaving "blank" canvas in the dyed fabric. The process, wax resist then dye, is repeated over multiple times to create desired patterns in multi colour hues.

• The product colour may slightly vary from image due to camera lights, your phone settings and fabric sheerness. All shoots are taken in outdoor daylight .
• Slight imperfections in handcrafted products is inherent owing to the manual process involved.

Wash care

• Please wash cotton fabrics gently and separately in cold water.
• Do not soak the fabric & dry the fabric after wash  in shade.
• Handloom & natural dyes fabrics tend to bleed out excess color in initial washes.
